Social Network
Finally, after the hectic work schedule, got relief to go out and explore Bangalore. After the prolonged and extended sleep on Saturday, went out for Social Network at Garuda Mall. Bangalore is costly but I am smart. Sat on the lappy at 10am and caught one of those“Buy 1 N get 1 Free” tickets.
The movie was at a fast pace and for a normal listener, you could realize that there was a joke only after the outburst from the surrounding seats. I had to keep up with the pace of the movie as well educate my friend sitting next to me on the sequence of events.
At the end of the day, I thought , why this movie was not aired/made when i was in college. At least, it would had been a inspiration for me to think beyond a job under someone , think of my own. Nevertheless, I know, my laziness always runs ahead of my imagination.
So, finally, explore Bangalore mission is on track now.

Barbeque Chicken
We happen to celebrate our colleague surprise birthday on a recent business trip and this is what we got in return as a treat. Even though I was a mere spectator and a garnisher, I am describing the recipe here.
Ingredients:
6 Chicken winglets and 6 leg pieces
Curd - 500 grams
Lemon - 2 No's
Ginger/Garlic Paste - 100 grams
Worcestershire sauce - 2/3 tbsp to marinate + extra to brush on the chicken while cooking
Barbeque sauce – to brush on the chicken while cooking
Procedure:
1. Clean the chicken legs, winglets and marinate them in curd along with ginger& garlic paste and Worcestershire sauce. Refrigerate the marinated chicken for 24 hours.
3. Setup your Barbeque grill. Preheat a gas grill to a medium heat (350 degrees) or start coals in a charcoal grill. If the Barbeque grill is not available, you can use the grill tawa as a replacement.
4. Place the chicken pieces on the barbeque grill/tawa and let them cook for 10 minutes. Follow the same until the chicken becomes golden brown both sides. You can add Worcestershire sauce if you like while turning the chicken.
5. Brush the grilled chicken with Barbeque Sauce, and let the chicken cook for a while. Do not put the barbecue sauce until the chicken is close to done.
6. Once the chicken turns juicy, your Barbeque is ready. Garnish with Lemon Juice on the ready Barbeque chicken.
7. Serve hot along with the potato/cucumber/sweet corn salad.
Quick rewind
1. Marinate the chicken, keep in the fridge and dream about it whole night.
2. Hurry back from office, setup ur BBQ and get the chicken out of the fridge.
3. Place the chicken on barbeque grill/ grill tawa and once the chicken starts getting juicy on the BBQ pour bbq sauce(for taste) and Worcestershire sauce ( for the sound/steam and of course taste !! )
4. Wait as long as u possibly could and dig in.
Yummy!!!!
Not a bad cook
I am done for the day….Ahhh!!!

Hot Air Ballooning
Buzz buzz buzzzzzzzzz....my alarm went off at 04.45 am. The thought of attending a Hot air balloon festival quickly crossed my half-awake mind and I was on my feet within seconds. It was first of a kind, my colleague and I have ever been part of. By 5.30 am, we hit the roads and off to Solberg Airport, New Jersey where the 28th Annual Festival of Ballooning was taking place. Major events at the festival were Sky-dive demonstration, "Mass Ascension of 125 Hot Air Balloons", tether rides and many fun-filled activities to keep you busy all the day.
50 miles drive was very pleasant as our car floated in the morning breeze and in no time we reached the venue. Our first impression of the festival was "wow!!! this is awesome!!!" as the air field was full of enthusiastic visitors, caravans carrying the hot air balloons which were getting ready with the launch and the whole airport was in a festive mode. At 06.15am, three skydivers shooted off into the skies from military aircraft and circled around the airport to land in the center of the festival arena, calling the Day activities on.
Minute by minute, each balloon was being filled with hot air as if like they were having their breakfast and in no time, balloon were growing bigger, revealing their true colors. At 06.40am, the first one lifted into the skies cheering up the much awaiting crowd. By 08.00am, 120 of the 125 balloons hit the skies (poor 5 guys did not make it to the air). The whole area was colorful as each of the balloons flew over our heads into deep skies. There were advertised balloons, self-owned and some were sponsored ones.
Once the balloons disappeared, other activities like concerts, fun games and track events kicked off. We weren't lucky that day as the tether rides were cancelled due to the heavy winds. Nevertheless, we spent our next 4 hours collecting freebies, trying our hands at few games and attending random concerts. On a whole, every penny spent was justified and every moment was enjoyed.
